Agricultural Economics is composed of five laboratories-Food & Agricultural Policies, Agricultural & Farm Management, Quantitative Food Economic Analysis, Food Marketing & Distribution, and Environmental Economics. Together they provide education and conduct research on food, agriculture, rural communities, resources, and the environment from a global, social scientific perspective.

Course After Graduation

Students in the field of Agricultural Economics are able to respond to the demands of modern society, and are employed by a wide range of organizations, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, prefectural governments, banks, agricultural cooperatives, trading companies, food manufacturers, television stations, computer manufacturers, and many others.
