The Division of Agricultural Economics is composed of five laboratories: Agricultural Economics, Farm Management, Food System Research, Rural Issues, and Fisheries Economics.
We engage in education and research from a social science perspective, aiming to address key challenges in agriculture and fisheries through interdisciplinary approaches.

Course After Graduation

Students in the field of Agricultural Economics are able to respond to the demands of modern society, and are employed by a wide range of organizations, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, prefectural governments, banks, agricultural cooperatives, trading companies, food manufacturers, television stations, computer manufacturers, and many others.
