General Course(Degree courses in Japanese)
The Faculty of Agriculture of Kyushu University aims to develop individuals who will not only possess internationally recognized expertise and skills in various fields of study related to biological production, biological functions, and the biological environment, but will also have the ability to fully explore issues from a range of perspectives.
Kyushu University's Faculty of Agriculture selects its students mainly from those who have taken the Common University Entrance Test (CUAT) and individual academic achievement test. In addition, 24 students are selected through a comprehensive selection process (general evaluation method).
General Selection
The Individual Achievement Test for the General Selection is conducted in a separate and divided format (for the first and second terms). Selection of applicants is based on the results of the Common University Entrance Test, the Individual Achievement Test, other criteria, and the content of the investigation report.

Comprehensive Selection Ⅱ
Unlike the conventional written academic examination of subjects and subjects, the main focus is on the comprehensive evaluation of abilities in the "cognitive" and "affective" domains. Selection is conducted based on the 1st and 2nd rounds. In the second round, applicants will be selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of their essay, interview, and the results of the Common Achievement Test for University Admissions.
Applicants must have graduated from high school in April of the previous year or later, or be expected to graduate in the following year, and must take the subjects of the university entrance test designated by the university.

IUP(Degree courses in English)
International Undergraduate Program Admission
The course is open to both Japanese and international students. There are two different admission types for Bioresource and Bioenvironment.
Type A is intended for students who take the Japanese University common entrance test. Usually, they will have studied at a high school in Japan.
Type B is usually intended for students who have studied at an international high school in Japan, or a high school in another country. These students will usually have taken a standardized test such as EJU, IB, AP, ACT, A level, or one of the other national exams that are accepted.
The application process for both type A and type B begins in December of the year before the year of entry with online registration. The written application and documents are then submitted during January of the admission year. Applicants who successfully pass the first round of screening are then invited to an interview (usually held online during February). After the second screening the results are announced by the of March and the successful applicants are offered a place to study Bioresouce and Bioenvironment beginning in October.
