Profile

Outline Activities

〇Research
・Conservation of endangered Lilium species, and establishment of efficient propagation method for their species.
・Elucidation of genetic regulation mechanism in floral morphogenesis in double flowered cyclamen.
・Assessment of genetic diversity in Camellia species.
・Basic research and breeding of Wisteria species.
・polyploid breeding in Capsicum and Prunus.
・Application of underutilized genetic resources and establishments of efficient methods using genetic markers for breeing in Citrus.

〇Education
In graduate education, I provide advise about research plan and support of experiment to laboratory members for their master's theses. In undergraduate education, I assist laboratory students with experiments and supervise their thesis, and I involved in agricultural experiments conducting in education course, Agronomy, Department of Bioresource and Bioenvironment.

Message
