Outline Activities
Mammals develop from a fertilized egg to an individual organism. Our Laboratory of Reproductive Physiology and Biotechnology investigates the process of differentiation from totipotent cells to various differentiated cells. We are also trying to generate totipotent cells from differentiated cells.
Furthermore, we apply the elucidated developmental mechanism to efficiently produce cloned animals, that have the same genetic information as the original animals.
