Profile
Outline Activities
〇Research
I aim to infer evolutionary history and molecular mechanism of novel and complex traits based on an integrated approach of field work, genomics, and molecular biology. I mainly focus on diversity of reproductive systems (e.g., clonal reproduction) and ploidy evolution, which are considered important for the fisheries development and understanding fish diversity. I also facilitate the establishment of genomic resources, and conduct population genomic research that contributes to the conservation and the management of endangered and fishery species.
