Outline Activities
My goal is to demonstrate the excellent properties of cellulose and other bio-based objects as functional materials, and to propose design processes for this purpose. For this purpose, I focus on understanding and controlling the structure and physical properties of the surface/interface of bio-based materials, and are engaged in research, development, and education from fundamental to applied researches.
