Research ActivitiesI am conducting research on natural resource management in Southeast and East Asia. Various natural resource management measures have been introduced and implemented to cope with biodiversity loss and global warming, and the globalization of society and economy is significantly changing the status of natural resources. Based on fieldwork, literature review, and policy analysis, we are conducting research on the relationship between ecosystems, natural resources, and people in forests and their surrounding areas. We also conduct policy research on deforestation due to greenhouse gas emission reductions, research on illegal logging, and research on the relationship between forests and ESG.
