Outline Activities

In undergraduate and graduate education, the department conducts advanced and interdisciplinary research and studies on microclimate environment, analysis of environmental response of plants, environmental regulation, smart agriculture, and climate change impact and adaptation measures in agricultural production, and teaches related knowledge and techniques with the keywords of "weather environment" and "biological production". The department also participates in the JABEE educational program for undergraduate education. We are also actively involved in industry-academia collaborations in order to return the results of our research to society at large.

Message

I try to live each day with the spirit of "Hana mo Mi mo Futatsu Utsukushi" as seen in Jiro Asada's book.
