Outline Activities

Human beings have skillfully utilized fibers made by living organisms. The fibers are indispensable for our daily life even today. However, the fibers still have many “mysteries”; the studies on such natural fibers are expected to develop further. We are investigating the properties of these natural fibers such as cellulose to clarify its molecular properties and to utilize them more effectively.
