Research Interests

Our main research themes are the development of useful rice genetic resources and genetic research on the evaluation of their characteristics. In order to meet the various demands, the characteristics of the variety must be best suited to each use. We are preserving and developing useful rice genetic resources that can be used for breeding, and evaluating their characteristics at the molecular biological level, targeting genes and proteins. In particular, the followings are our core research themes.
