Research Interests

This laboratory aims at education and research on physical conversion of wood resources, design and development of wood resource materials, and their structural utilization, in harmony with global environmental conservation and forest resource utilization. In other words, basic and applied research is conducted on the advancement of wood processing systems such as cutting, drying, gluing, etc., the development of plywood, laminated wood, and wood boards with high functionality, and the improvement of wood structures with high performance.
