Researches on physiology, ecology, genetics, breeding, differentiation of species and varieties, and conservation in horticultural crops.

Horticultural Science is the study of a wide variety of fruit trees, vegetables, and flowering plants cultivated throughout the world. Our laboratory conducts education and research on growth control, establishment of species and varieties, breeding, conservation of genetic resources, and production of all fruit trees, vegetables, and flowers, aiming to elucidate the "diversity" and "universal phenomena" of horticultural plants and their "application to society.
