The food we eat every day to survive is not only produced domestically but also imported from overseas. It may seem obvious that food reaches our hands in a stable manner at all times, transcending time and place, and even changing form, but there is a very complex mechanism and system in place. The term "distribution" refers to bridging the gap between production and consumption, and various distribution businesses intervene in the supply and demand of food. Today, we can obtain extremely sophisticated and convenient foodstuffs such as side dishes and processed foods. We conduct education and research from the perspectives of distribution economics, information economics, and marketing theory.
