Research Interests

My laboratory specializes in development, agricultural, and environmental economics. Using field experiments in agriculture and natural resource use, I analyse behavioural data to uncover causal mechanisms and impacts that support evidence‑based policymaking. My research focuses on how preferences for resource use form, what drives the adoption of sustainable agricultural technologies, and how behavioural and institutional factors shape decisions and policy outcomes. These insights help me propose practical institutional designs and incentives that promote sustainable resource management.
For students interested in understanding social issues through data or exploring the logic behind human behaviour, these fields offer meaningful opportunities. Your curiosity may lead to research that contributes to better policies and a more sustainable future.
