The fruit research group at Kyushu University has developed a grape variety called "BK Seedless" with excellent genetic traits through their genetic and breeding research on grapes. After being registered as a variety in 2011, the sale of saplings began in 2015, and the cultivation techniques for "BK Seedless" have been transferred to grape growers in Japan. In addition to grape growers, around 100 participants, including nurseries and material manufacturers for fruit production, visited the fields of "BK Seedless." Many growers who are already cultivating the variety also participated, actively exchanging information on cultivation techniques and processing methods. We will continue to host study tours for grape growers and support the introduction and regionalization of "BK Seedless.
