Agricultural Field Visit: an example of a class

Agricultural Field Visit:

As part of a class, we visited a local strawberry farm. Strawberries in Fukuoka Prefecture are grown in plastic greenhouses, with work starting in May and regulated so that they are ready for harvest in November. Peak production comes at Christmas in December.

The same farmer produces not only strawberries but also wheat and rice. This time, a drone demonstration in his wheat field was presented.
