Signing Ceremony of Academic Exchange Agreement with Indonesia Oil Palm Research Institute was held.

On June 7, 2023, the Faculty of Agriculture of Kyushu University and the Indonesian Oil Palm Research Institute concluded an interdepartmental academic exchange agreement.

The agreement was signed on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, by Dr. Miki Nakao, Dean and Professor, Faculty of Agriculture; Dr. Yukihiro Tashiro, Associate Professor, Faculty of Agriculture; Dr. Yoshinori Katakura, Professor and Director, Material Management Center; Dr. Noriyuki Ikura, Professor and Chair of the International Exchange Committee, Graduate School of Agriculture; Dr. Katsuya Fukami, Specially Appointed Professor, Center for Management of Manipulative Materials; Dr. HARAHAP Iman Yani, Director, Indonesia Institute of Plantation Research; and Dr. Lubis Edwin Syahputra, Director, Indonesia Oil Palm Research Institute. Director from Indonesia's Plantation Research Institute, and LUBIS Edwin Syahputra, Director from Indonesia's Oil Palm Research Institute.

The two parties have been conducting joint research since 2015, and it is expected that the expansion of exchanges will lead to the development of joint research and the revitalization of international exchanges among students, faculty members, and researchers.
