Signing Ceremony for Academic Exchange Agreement with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the signing ceremony for the academic exchange agreement between the Faculty of Agriculture of TUFS and Universiti Kelantan Malaysia was held.

From Kyushu University, Prof. Miki Nakao, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture ; Prof. Noriyuki Igura, Chair of International Exchange, Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Yuji Tsutsumi, Chair of Division of Sustainable Bioresources Science; Associate Prof. Noboru Fujimoto, Faculty of Agriculture; Assistant Prof. Hiroki Sakagami, Faculty of Agriculture; from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Dr. Razli Che Razak, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Professor Ts. Dr. Arham Abdullah, Board of Directors, Professor Dr. Aweng Eh Rak, Deputy Dean (Research, Entrepreneur and Student Development), Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology, Associate Professor Ts. Mamat, and Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology, Dr. Andi Hermawan.

Until now, joint research has been conducted only between the personnel of each university, but with the conclusion of this agreement, exchange with students and faculty members will be expanded. It is expected that the joint research will develop and the number of projects will increase, and that students will be involved in joint research from the time they are students, which will help them acquire an international perspective and strengthen the relationship.
