Dates Friday, August 21, 2026 - Monday, September 28, 2026
Destination Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Training Venues The University of Queensland (UQ), UQ College, etc.
Program Details Participants will join the "Q2PEC" short-term exchange program organized by the Faculty of Engineering and study alongside students from the Faculties of Engineering, Medicine, and Economics. This popular program combines a 5-week language training course with a homestay in a local family, allowing participants to deeply experience not only the English language but also Australian culture and daily life. In classes, students will study English alongside peers from around the world in level-based groups, strengthening all four language skills--listening, writing, speaking, and reading--in a balanced manner while being exposed to diverse perspectives. Students will also participate in tours, workshops, and practical training in university laboratories on the College of Agriculture campus. Special lectures in the fields of environmental and life sciences are also scheduled, providing ample opportunities for academic learning. With interactions with local students from the University of Queensland (UQ) and various events such as barbecues, you will be able to build connections across different academic disciplines. This is a rewarding summer program recommended for those who want to learn English, are interested in overseas universities and research, or wish to challenge themselves through international exchange.
